Fakir Mohan University is on the verge of completing 23 years (1999-2022)of excellence in providing quality education, it has become a trusted institution for professional education for students from around the nation and beyond. FM University introduced LL.M and B.A.LL.B courses in the year 2002 and 2017 respectively followed by UGC and BCI Guidelines. But due to a lack of infrastructure, both courses were being conducted at Balasore Law College. As the infrastructure was ready, in August 2022, as per the direction of our esteemed Vice Chancellor Prof.Santosh Kumar. Tripathy, the FM University has introduced the PG Department of Law in the old campus of the University. Now the LLM and 5 Years Integrated B.A. LL.B (Hons.) courses are continuing in the Department of Law FM University rather in Balasore Law College.

To cater the societal needs by developing the professional skills amongst those intending to take up the professions of advocacy, judicial services and other legal services. 7. To undertake all such things as are incidental, necessary or conducive to the attainment of all or any of the objects of the University.
