The Post Graduate Department of Applied Physics and Ballistics has been imparting the most challenging P.G. courses in the field of Science and Technology giving degrees of M.Sc. in Applied Physics and Ballistics from 2007 and degree of M.Sc. in Physics from 2012 under Fakir Mohan University, Balasore, Odisha after due approval of U.G.C. under the control of State Govt. of Odisha.

Uniqueness: This Post Graduate Department of Applied Physics and Ballistics is the First in India to introduce such innovative subject in M.Sc. degree in active support of PXE, DRDO, Chandipur, a sister organisation of DRDO with a vision of fulfilling the demand of quality and strength in the defence research services of the country.
